Calculator data
Calculations run in your browser. The values you enter, such as salary and income figures, stay in your browser and are used there to calculate the result.
The business comparison and guides temporarily keep your entries and each page’s state in browser session storage so they can be restored when you reload the page in the same tab.
Language, cookies, analytics and advertising
When you select another language, your browser stores the preference locally for your next visit. You can clear it in your browser’s site data settings.
If you consent to analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to count page visits and completed calculations in the bonus, leave, rental and sole trader calculators. The completion event contains no calculator inputs or results. Google Analytics may store or read cookies in your browser for this purpose.
The live visitor counter counts visible tabs that participate. You can turn participation for your tab on or off in the homepage footer. This choice is separate from Google Analytics. Your browser remembers only the on or off setting in session storage for the same tab. If you haven’t made this choice, the counter follows your Google Analytics consent.
The counter uses no cookies, keeps no visit history and receives no calculator entries or results. Cloudflare hosts the counter and processes network information, including IP addresses, to operate the connection.
the-tax.gr uses Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its advertising partners may store or read cookies and use tracking pixels, IP addresses and other identifiers to serve and measure ads. Advertising cookies can be used to personalise ads based on past visits to this or other websites, with your consent where required.
When the consent message appears, you can accept, reject or manage your choices. You can change your choices or withdraw consent through the privacy settings link at the bottom of the site when it is available. See how Google uses data and manage personalisation in Google’s My Ad Center.
Hosting and technical logs
GitLab Pages hosts the site. To operate and protect the service, GitLab records your IP address, the time of access and the pages requested. GitLab states that it keeps these logs for seven days and then gradually deletes them. The GitLab privacy policy also explains international data transfers and the provider’s safeguards.
