Which salary amount should I enter?

Use your regular monthly gross before employee contributions and tax, including fixed taxable allowances. Leave Christmas, Easter and vacation allowance out of this input: the annual view adds them. One-off bonuses and shift premiums are outside this estimate.

What do the 2026 youth rates apply to?

The age relief concerns taxable income after employee contributions, not gross salary. Up to age 25 the first €20,000 has a zero rate; ages 26–30 get 9% on €10,000–€20,000, or zero with at least four dependent children. Employee contributions still apply.

Why is annual gross slightly more than 14 salaries?

For full entitlement, Christmas is one salary, Easter half a salary and vacation allowance half a salary. The holiday bonuses also include the vacation-allowance share (1/24). The annual estimate includes that increment.

Does the employee-contribution subsidy apply to me?

This estimate excludes Επιδότηση Εργατικής Εισφοράς (ΕΕΕ). Eligible employees paid the statutory minimum may have their pension contribution subsidised by 6.67% of the basic minimum. Eligibility depends on insurance, full-time work, pay and exclusions; it cannot be inferred from the amount alone. Ask payroll to confirm: your actual net can be higher than this estimate.

Why might my payslip or tax return differ?

Check your EFKA coverage package, dependants, age group, taxable benefits, absences and extra payments. A raise, part-year work or another income source changes the annual assessment. The result is an estimate for the scope above; your payroll department can confirm the actual deductions.

What is €1,500 gross after deductions in 2026?

In a regular month, subtract €200.55 in employee contributions and €134.67 in income tax withheld from €1,500.00 gross. That leaves about €1,164.78 net.

This example assumes a Greek tax resident born in 1990, with no dependants or other income, insured under KPK 101 and earning a fixed salary from one employer in full-time private-sector work throughout the year.

With bonuses and the holiday allowance, annual pay is €21,093.75 gross and about €16,370.34 net, after €2,820.24 in contributions and €1,903.17 in estimated annual income tax. If you know your target net pay, enter it in the calculator to find the gross amount.

Check each payment separately with the Christmas bonus, Easter bonus and annual leave allowance calculators.
